HYUNDAI MOTOR MANUFACTURING ALABAMA DONATES TO TOYS FOR TOTS FOR 20TH YEAR
For the 20th consecutive year , Hyundai Motor Manufacturing Alabama team members held a toy , bicycle , and fund drive for the Marine Corps Toys for Tots campaign . During the months of November and December , team members purchased 138 bicycles and dozens of other toys from local retailers . The donated bicycles and toys went to the U . S . Marine Corps Toys for Tots campaign . In addition to the bicycles and toys , HMMA team members gave $ 4,151 in cash .

Established in 2007 , SCE is nationally recognized for its expertise in shoreline protection and restoration . This strategic move enhances GMC ’ s services , building on a decades-long partnership that includes projects like the Dauphin Island East End Beach and Dune Restoration .
MA ’ S JULIE GORDON NAMED NFHS NATIONAL COACH OF THE YEAR
Montgomery Academy ’ s longtime volleyball coach , Julie Gordon , has been honored as the National Federation of High School Coaches Association National Volleyball Coach of the Year . Gordon , who recently announced her retirement , ranks second nationally among active coaches with an impressive 1,624-436 career record . Over her 46-year tenure , she led Montgomery Academy to eight state championships and was inducted into the Alabama High School Athletic Association Hall of Fame in 2013 .
MONTGOMERY ACADEMY EARNS PLATINUM STATUS ON AP SCHOOL HONOR ROLL
Montgomery Academy has been recognized as a Platinum member of the College Board ’ s AP School Honor Roll for the second consecutive year , making it the only independent school in the River Region to achieve this distinction for the 2023-24 school year . The AP ® School Honor Roll recognizes schools that expand access to AP courses and support students in earning college credit .
