Chandler works with water , wastewater , electric and natural gas clients across the Southeast . She is a member of American Water Works Association ( AWWA ), the Water Environment Federation , the Alabama Rural Water Association , etc .

Business Council of Alabama Names Helena Duncan President and CEO
The Business Council of Alabama ( BCA ) announced that Helena Duncan has been selected as the organization ’ s next President and CEO . Duncan came to BCA in 2020 with more than 30 years of experience in the financial industry , primarily at the executive management level . Prior to her role with BCA , she served as Regional President for Liberty Bank & Trust . Duncan joined BCA as Director of Strategic Operations and Growth and previously served as Senior Vice President of Operations and Investor Relations . Duncan is the first African American to serve as president of BCA .
D . Mitchell Henry , J . D . Inaugurated 9th President of Faulkner University
Hundreds of special guests , students and alumni , faculty and staff and members of the Henry family filled the Tine Davis Gymnasium on campus January 30 as they gathered to celebrate the inauguration of D . Mitchell Henry , J . D . as the ninth president of Faulkner University in its 80-year history . Although Henry took office as president on June 1 , 2022 , presidential inaugurations have been a tradition for centuries taking place in the first year of a president ’ s service to allow the president to share their goals and the mission of the university they serve . Henry , who has already become a favorite among students , has continually put God first in his decisions , emphasizes the mission of Faulkner , and makes sure the student body knows how much he is invested in their academic and spiritual wellbeing .
