Dr . Thomas Lindsey , D . O ., CAQSM

Dr . Lindsey is board certified in Family Medicine and Sports Medicine . He completed his Family Medicine Residency and Sports Medicine Fellowship at the University of Alabama . Thomas also completed a pre-doctoral fellowship in osteopathic manipulative therapy ( OMT ), a hands-on approach to musculoskeletal disorders to correct structural imbalances , improve circulation , and relieve pain . OMT coupled with sports medicine brings a unique approach to the care of athletes and people of all ages . Additionally , Thomas ’ knowledge of sports nutrition can help maximize performance and prevent injuries .
Thomas is a native of Montgomery , AL graduating from Trinity Presbyterian School . He completed his Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences at Furman University Magna Cum Laude . Thomas earned his osteopathic medical degree from the Alabama College of Osteopathic Medicine , ACOM , in Dothan , AL . While attending ACOM , he received his Master ’ s in Adult Education at Troy University . During residency and fellowship at the University of Alabama , Thomas has treated acute and chronic medical conditions , provided preventative care , and worked with high school and college athletes in multiple sports . He enjoys fly fishing , hunting , golfing , lake life , and exercise . He is excited to bring his skills to the Montgomery area .
