A Student’ s Perspective:
“ UA Early College pushed me to step outside of my comfort zone to engage fully in the college experience. Thanks to the support of my advisors, I can confidently say that I feel more prepared to start college in the fall because UA Early College provided a great foundational understanding of the process,” said Kennedie Smith, Moundville, AL.
Set for Success:
Taking dual enrollment courses in high school helps set students up to be more successful in college. Whether a student only takes the UAEC 200 College Readiness course or brings in 60 credit hours to college, they’ ll be more prepared. The more hours a student brings with them from high school, the more flexibility they’ ll have in college for additional majors or minors, or study abroad programs. Students can even graduate early to jumpstart their careers.
