The Council for Leaders in Alabama Schools( CLAS) proudly announces that Dr. Farrell Seymore has officially assumed the role of executive director. He succeeds Dr. Vic Wilson, who retired after serving the organization with distinction since 2017. Dr. Seymore brings 28 years of experience in public education to the position.

The Montgomery Police Department( MPD) has appointed Chief Ettice Brickus as its new Chief of Staff, bringing with her nearly 24 years of experience and a distinguished career in law enforcement. Chief Brickus joined the department in July 2025 following a celebrated tenure with the Baltimore Police Department. She now oversees the day-to-day operations, policy development, budget administration and strategic management of the agency.

Montgomery Whitewater names Jason Wilson as Executive Director
Jason Wilson played a key role in bringing the Montgomery Biscuits to the city in 2004. Now, he brings his vision and leadership to Montgomery Whitewater, with plans to position the outdoor recreation venue as a regional destination for more than just whitewater rafting. Under his direction, Montgomery Whitewater aims to expand its reach by highlighting its potential as a hub for events, community engagement and outdoor adventure in Central Alabama.
