John Fendley, Jackson Thornton’ s President and CEO, announced the firm has recently been named a Top 200 Firm by INSIDE Public Accounting( IPA). The IPA 500 rankings are based on the 2025 IPA Practice Management Survey. The IPA Top 500 firms are ranked by US net revenue and are compiled by analyzing the hundreds of responses received for this year’ s IPA survey. This is IPA’ s 35th annual ranking of the largest accounting firms in the nation; Jackson Thornton was ranked 141st.

The Pivot Path, INC distributed 120 refurbished laptops donated by AT & T and Human-I-T in Montgomery. This effort was part of the AT & T Connected Learning ® initiative to help address the digital divide through internet accessibility, affordability and safe adoption. AT & T committed $ 5 billion to help 25 million people get and stay connected to high-speed Internet by 2030. The Pivot Path worked closely with its partner agencies such as Sowing Seeds of Hope in Perry County, CIA Kids Journey Program in Elmore County and past graduates from The Pivot Path Program, just to name a few to identify individuals to receive the laptops.

MONTGOMERY’ S EMERGENCY CALL CENTER GAINS MOMENTUM WITH NEW HIRES
The phones at the Montgomery’ s Emergency Communications Center ring with urgency from everyday calls about car crashes, medical emergencies, fires and other crises, not to mention the countless non-emergency calls for service. Hiring classes were launched in January, April and July, reflecting a steady effort to build and retain a team that can handle the demands of 24 / 7 emergency services. The Emergency Communications team now includes 5 police / fire dispatchers, 15 operators, 5 supervisors, a training manager and a center manager.
