URGENT ORTHO BY SOUTHERN ORTHOPAEDIC SURGEONS CELEBRATES ONE YEAR IN NEW LOCATION
Southern Orthopaedic Surgeons celebrated the one-year anniversary of Urgent Ortho by Southern Orthopaedic Surgeons. Urgent Ortho was the first walk-in orthopaedic clinic in the state of Alabama, originally operating after hours and on weekends out of our main office on Taylor Road. It later served patients from our EastChase location before officially opening its full-time, standalone home in Chase Corner in August 2024.
RESTAURANT WEEK RETURNS AS RIVER REGION’ S ULTIMATE FOOD AND DRINK CELEBRATION
The most flavorful time of the year returned— this time with a fresh new look and expanded reach. Celebrating its 11th year, Montgomery Restaurant Week was reimagined as River Region Restaurant Week, a broader celebration of local flavor that showcased culinary talent across the region. Organized by Experience Montgomery, this year’ s campaign kicked off with the all-new Summer on the River Bar Trail from July 25 – August 3, followed by River Region Restaurant Week from August 7 – 16. The annual campaign offered locals and visitors a delicious way to support the culinary and cocktail scenes across Montgomery and the River Region.

A powerful new way to support mental health awareness is hitting the road— literally. Alabama’ s brand-new“ Mental Health Matters” specialty license plate is now available for preorder, giving residents the opportunity to help steer the conversation around mental wellness and reduce stigma statewide. Before production can begin, 1,000 pre-orders must be collected.
