When someone is inspired by your work, is happy because of your work, is less tired from their day because of your work.” Janeena is one busy lady. She knows how to be classy yet so simple and captivating in the midst of school activities and work commitments. She has emerged to a more compelling, likeable and charismatic personality. She is chic and sophisticated on the red carpet, ads and pictorial but can easily go casual when not in the limelight. Janeena has such a wonderful personality. She’s young and modern. She’s open to new ideas in terms of style and designs and she has good proportions. Janeena is privileged and blessed to be around with positive people who want to grow as an artist or model, to share the love and to nurture the talents of others. So how long do you think she has been in the modeling business? Well, it turns out that she’s been modeling since grade school! As far as modeling is concerned, she really admired Mischa Barton for her effortless aura, in fitness wise…none really. Her dream while growing up is to balance her extra-curricular activities and studies the best way she can and to keep being a good influence. What was the experience when you first start your first ever modeling gig? “I was just having fun since I started as kiddie model! It was a hobby and it fortunately caught on as a career,” she shares. How do you manage your time with you busy schedule? “Keeping a planner, time management, discipline, and learning when to say ‘yes’ and ‘no’,” she enumerates. It’s really obvious that when you are involved in this kind of business, you have to maintain a certain shape or physical physique. But, how does she really maintain it? “Well, keeping a good balance of everything, moderation with the proper balance of nourishing food and sleeping early, no alcohol, and keeping away from stress!” How many times do you work out in a week? Do you have any favorite workout? “I walk a lot on campus and bike around the village whenever time permits! I used to be a gymnast and a cheerleader so I love that kind of workout where it feels as if you’re only having fun in one giant playground... from the floor, bars, beam, vault, and trampoline of course!,” Janeena reveals. Is there any workout routine that you find it very challenging? “I find leg raises and squats really difficult,” she openly admits. What types of food do you eat? Do you have any meal plans or your own customized meal plans at all? Can you share us? “Well, I don’t really follow a strict diet plan. I follow my instincts and just listen to what my body needs. Water is a must! I never leave home without a bottle! The power of keeping hydrated is such a simple and practical tip that is often underestimated, but H2O especially with a few pumps of fresh kalamansi or lemon really leaves your body feeling refreshed and energized,”the female model says. Since when did you start to realize that being fit and healthy is a must these days? Was there someone who influenced you? “Just seeing and hearing stories of how bad illnesses can take over your life. Being fit and healthy makes you more productive, and ultimately contributes in helping you live a more meaningful.” Janeena reveals. Every person has their own food guilty pleasures. We indulge them whenever we are stressed, tired, sad or even we are in the mood. We asked Janeena what food or drinks she can’t resist. Janeena cannot resist coffee and cold, thick chocolate milk. Now those are something! “Be motivated and inspired whenever you workout! Don’t force yourself when you’re not in the mood... it should leave you pumped up and not bummed out!” Name your fitspiration icons or models you look up to. “Victoria Secret Angels and Heart Evangelista,” the glamorous model says. Tell us your five characteristics that fans don’t know about you? “Some may or may not know that I ... Love adventures! The outdoors, spontaneity, and just living in the moment, I also love to sing! It’s my first passion. I can finish a pint of ice cream in one seating. I really value family and my studies A LOT! Lastly, I want to pursue a variety of careers in this lifetime... so look out! Hopefully things turn out for the best, “she shared. What are your final messages to your fans that constantly follow you or at least look up to you? “Thank you for believing in me, and I hope to meet you soon! I’d love to be friends with them honestly”. Wave your magic wand, where do you see yourself in ten years? “Hopefully completed at least half of things on my bucket list and building a social enterprise/foundation for advocacies I strongly believe in, such as proper nutrition and hunger alleviation, and protection of all beings against abuse,” she said optimistically.
