Breakthroughs
Zahra lived in Jordan for 13 years. Before she
moved to the Philippines, she was so athletic that she
played soccer, track, swimming, and almost made it
to the Jordan National Badminton Team (but didn’t
because she couldn’t get a Jordanian passport). She
had an athletic body to go with that of course. Unfortunately, when Zahra moved to Philippines in June 5,
2005, she spent the first three months doing nothing
but to eat and sleep.
She had no activities because she didn’t enroll
into a school ‘til September. Even when she was in
school, Zahra was still trying to fit in and figure out the
culture. She gained weight and became around 140lbs.
She seesawed with that number that ‘til she became 18
going into her third year of college.
By the time she was taking her internship,
Zahra gained another 10lbs because again, she wasn’t
very active since. She didn’t have time to work out and
all they did was eat in the office. So, she was 150lbs.
In her graduating year, she was 19 at that time, Zahra
realized that she really needed to step up her game and
lose all that weight.
She jogged 4-5x a week, even did some random dancing, Pilates, and trained out with the school
cheerleading squad the Altas Perpsquad. From 150lbs,
her weight became 132lbs. She hit my plateau and
thought she wouldn’t be able to lose anymore since
she was big boned and had Arabian blood (her mom
is Arab). She had a new found confidence and joined
Miss World PH 2013.
When Zahra got in, she had to lose weight fast.
She barely had time to work out since they had so
many activities for Miss World, so she made sure that
she ate right by eating no carbs whatsoever and ate
mostly fish, vegetables, and fruits. Also, she had a big
help from a supplement called Dieneolean, a fat burning and a muscle-building supplement.
Zahra went from 132lbs to 126lbs in 2 weeks
and lost another 4lbs the next two weeks because she
continued her healthy eating. She ended up at 122lbs.
Now, she’s back to 130lbs because she have had 3 consecutive months of stress and that pushes her to stress
eating due to late nights and low energy. But now,
she’s back on track and soon you will see a different
transformation.
