Daylighting
The largely glass facade allows daylight to penetrate the building,
while the glazing selection and exterior shading devices regulate
the amount of direct sunlight, and therefore solar heat gain. The
design distributes indirect light to the glass working studios located
deeper within the building. The diagram above also illustrates how
the ventilation system is used to regulate the space’s air flow and
temperature.
