Paris INSOLENCE INCARNATE EXHIBITION Insolence Incarnate is the 1st major exhibition for Oscar Wilde in Paris, 116 years after his death. The Francophile's death was in the French capital, and the tribute to the Anglo-Irish playwight, novelist and poet features 200 exhibits from private and public collections, including manuscripts, photographs, paintings and personal belongings from Europe and North America. St. Petersberg THE FABLES OF THE VIXEN, THE DUCKLING & THE BALDA Consisting of two rarely performed works by Prokofiev and Stravinsky, this Bolshoi Theatre production takes the form of a fairy-tale that incorporates opera, ballet and a puppet show. The Fables of the Fox, the Duckling & Balda combine 3 musical fairy tales: Prokofiev’s The Ugly Duckling, Stravinsky’s Tale of the Fox, the Cock, the Cat and the Ram, and Pravednikov’s Tale of the Priest and his Workman Balda. With a cast of Kristina Mkhitaryan, Ekaterina Shcherbachenko, Oleg Dolgov, Bogdan Volkov, and many others, this fun play will be running from October 29 to December 18, 2016, at the Bolshoi Theatre's Beethoven Hall. Rio de Janeiro 5X COMEDY After two decades from its previous run, 5x Comédia (5x Comedy) is back with a hilarious new perspective to the classic Brazilian comedy, at the Oi Casa Grande theatre. The show is reintroduced with an eclectic/diverse and humorous cast, including Hamilton Vaz Pereira, an original cast member from the previous two runs 30 years prior, who will be also directing this time. It's cast consist of Bruno Mazzeo, Debora Lamm, Fabiula Nascimento, Lucio Mauro Filho and Thalita Carauta, and the sketches, by Antonio Prata, Julia Spadaccini, Jô Bilac, Gregorio Duvivier and Pedro Kosovski. 5x Comedy is running from September 8th to October 30th, from Thursdays to Sundays.
