Our last night in Langkawi and it is fair to say we were all feeling relaxed, shopped out and massaged from head to toe.
The rain had settled in for the afternoon and evening, and as I relaxed on my balcony, Sarah emailed us to let us know that the beach dinner was not going to be so much beach but more
outdoor restaurant dining…..
As I finished putting the final touches to my outfit (a golden tiara, a red cape, a sword and some attractive knee high socks come booties) I wondered how I might get to the dinner without being seen, - at least it was dark.
When I arrived, the Superheros were gathered around a long table -, the atmosphere was so chilled out.
Rosie won super hero costume of the night in my eyes – her purple face and pink wig were very striking and I really wondered what the driver must have thought when he picked her up!!
As we settled down with a drink, the frogs began to sing and the rain poured down.
Up jumped the bailiff -“All rise” she called. The trial of Alex “Norrin Radd” Simpson began. As Alex got a roasting, everyone played their superhero parts perfectly.
