T & M is simple , practical , and versatile . Several years ago , selected booklets from T & M were used to train more than 4,500 church planters in 1 Asian city over 4 days . Those men and women went out and planted more than 10,000 house churches . However , T & M is more frequently used in smaller coaching and training experiences , most often with groups of 5 to 15 student church planters .
John * was one of the first leaders Jerry trained to use T & M in 1999 . At that time , he was a church planter who had just started a few churches . T & M helped him learn how to grow healthy churches with healthy leaders who could stand in faith against the persecution he faced from day one . Twenty-five years later , John leads a group of 1,428 churches spread over a wide swath of his country . T & M has been a powerful training tool in John ’ s hands each step of the way .
T & M is also a powerful tool in Africa . In the past 4 years , more than 13,000 African churches have been planted by OMS-related church planters trained with the T & M booklets . OMS partners in the Philippines are rapidly multiplying churches using T & M as they train church planters in other Asian countries . Colombians are multiplying both urban and rural churches using T & M . Similar stories are developing in many additional nations worldwide .
