Jesus as my Savior and was baptized . Hearing the Gospel changed my life . I knew that I wanted to be able to share my testimony with others who were growing up thinking that God was unloving and far away .
Looking back on my life and seeing how God has prepared me for this calling has been one of my most humbling experiences . While earning my bachelor ’ s degree in elementary education , I worked as a classroom aide at a Christian preschool in Springfield , Missouri . I shared the Gospel with kids daily and formed relationships with the parents and other staff at the preschool . After graduating from college in December 2021 , I returned to the preschool as a lead teacher . That experience taught me so much about myself and how I can show the love of Christ through my teaching . I grew a passion for early childhood education and sharing the Gospel through that lens . I know now that God placed those opportunities in my life to prepare me to share the Gospel with the students , parents , and community in Budapest , Hungary .
As I enter this new season , I am excited to see how God continues growing me to be more like him . I may not know what my life will look like in the next 5 or 10 years , but I know that nothing I dream up will come close to his plans for me . So , for now , I am doing my best to worry about today and let tomorrow worry about itself .
