When describing his inspiration behind
the design of Regent House, the first
homes to have launched, Ben Pentreath
said: “Regent House overlooks what I

“ I wanted to create a building that
had elegance and dignity but used
restrained architectural detail. The
design of the building draws from the
English Regency tradition with tall
ceilings, large sash windows, and on
the south side, generous balconies for
civilised outdoor living.”
The square will be surrounded by
some of Poundbury’s larger scale, eye-
catching buildings with a mixture of
public and commercial functions.
REGENT HOUSE
Launched first in April, Regent House
boasts four spacious apartments within
this iconic building. These new homes
feature south-facing balconies with
extensive views across Poundbury.
The ground floor is made up of
commercial units to add vibrancy to this
new hub of the North East Quadrant.
Located in a prime position on the
corner of Dugdale Road. Each apartment
can be accessed via a lift service and
benefits from views over Poundbury.
