COMMUNITY CLEAN UP SESSIONS
The Prince of Wales School is calling on the community to help it transform the grounds.
Lots of work is needed on the garden, forest school area and helping to make the grounds more disabled friendly. At the first session around 40 parents, friends of the school and members of the community turned up to help garden the forest school area. The next session will be on Saturday 18 November from 1pm-4pm. People are invited to turn up and help but all children must be accompanied by an adult. Mr Spracklen added:
" Everyone is welcome, at the school we pride ourselves on the relationship with the parents and it is incredibly important for us to running events and working closely with our PTA – POWSA."

TEAM DUCHY 10 + ALFIE
The new year will deliver a big challenge to 10 volunteers taking part in the 205-mile charity bike ride from St Austell to Barnstaple.
The ambitious bike ride is called Ride for Precious Lives 2017 and all cyclists are taking part in memory of one-year-old Alfie Ezra Sanders. The love and care given to him by family and friends was received in equal measure by the staff of Little Bridge House in Barnstaple, one of a number of Children’ s Hospice South West ' s facilities across the region, not only when he was alive but supporting the family through and beyond his death. The cycling team is made up of The Duchy of Cornwall staff and friends including Keith and Michelle Sanders, David, Greg and Christine Walsh, Peter James, Ben Murphy, Heather Bayston, Bob Brady and Celebrating Poundbury’ s Editor Miriam Phillips.
The team needs to raise £ 10,000 for Children’ s Hospice South West so if you can donate please visit the Virgin Money fundraising page at http:// bit. ly / Duchy10
