Camp Bestival
Continued from page 57
2016 event, Bestival is looking to revive its fortunes and has chosen Dorset for
its new home. With the site already playing host to sister festival Camp Bestival
earlier in the season, it has a ready-made following.
Speaking of which, Camp Bestival has yet another show-stopping line-up of
major acts such as Madness, Brian Wilson, All Saints, Leftfield and many more.
The festival is know for its award-winning family atmosphere and emphasis on
entertainment and activities for the children. Little ones will be pleased to learn
that kids TV favourites Mr Tumble, Dick and Dom and Mister Maker will be in
attendance at Lulworth Castle.

There’s also the popular Purbeck Valley Folk Festival that takes place at Purbeck
Valley Farm near Harman’s Cross in August. This year will see a headlining turn
from Badly Drawn Boy, Turin Brakes and Ben Ottewell from Gomez.
