I joined the Research Users Group at Keele 6 years ago due to an interest in the research process . I am a chronic pain patient who self manages my MSK pain & I was keen to discover how much impact Patient and Public Involvement had in the world of research .
At Keele it soon became evident to me that the patient and public voice is not only listened to but taken seriously & embedded into the research from the outset . Stepping into the world of researchers , clinicians and academics is always interesting and enjoyable .
