says Carolina Rojas-Gore , former SACHCC board member and owner of Gore Public Relations . “ Small businesses benefit from business education , marketing and networking , and many large corporations rely on the chamber for outreach and to have their name known in the community .”
The SACHCC also works closely with the Latino Economic Council of Sacramento , Sacramento City Council and Sacramento County Board of Supervisors to stay on top of local issues that affect members and to advocate for plans that will help their business community grow .
“ It ’ s our job to ensure that our small businesses have a voice in decisions that affect them and that we continue to ensure that they aren ’ t forgotten ,” says Rodriguez Aguirre . “ The SACHCC serves as a reminder that many of our businesses have been here for decades ... and have added to the revenue of our city and county . We are woven into the fabric of our community at large and add to the rich diversity that is the Sacramento region .”
