On March 29-31, 2012, Tulsa Community College Metro/West Campuses
students participated in the Oklahoma
FBLA/PBL 2012 State Leadership Conference in Tulsa, Oklahoma. TCC—
Metro/West local PBL chapters took a
total of 51 students to the conference
and brought home over 80 PBL State
Awards. Of the 51 students who participated in the conference, 34 of them
qualified for national competition.

row’s business leaders in the Tulsa Community. PBL is active in community service projects, student learning activities, and competitive events so Oklahoma can be represented nationally in a dignified, intelligent, and creative way. PBL members who are winners
at the State Conference have the “competitive edge,” as the best and brightest of PBL convene to compete in
leadership events, share their successes, and learn new ideas about shaping their career future through workshops and exhibits at the National Leadership Conference.
The PBL National Leadership Conference is considered the pinnacle of the PBL experience, especially for those
running for national office. PBL has forged partnerships with industry leaders to underwrite competitive events
and scholarships for students achieving national ranking. With more than 225 active members, Tulsa Community
College—Metro/West Campuses has the largest membership
of any college statewide. This outranks some of Oklahoma’s
most prestigious four-year universities! Without the local
guidance and never-ending support, the student members
would not know how to recruit more business students to participate in this exciting endeavor nor have the support needed
to effectively raise funds for these events.

Without the support of local business and industry leaders in
Tulsa, TCC—Metro/West would never have made this great
accomplishment. PBL hopes to continue to rely on your support. The following is a list of TCC’s student winners, along
