Julie was
raised in Drummond,
Oklahoma. She
earned her associate’s
degree from NOC/
NWOSU, her bachelor’s degree in Zoology from OSU, and her
Master’s degree in
Adult Education Administration and Management from NWOSU. She
currently coordinates the Anatomy and Pathophysiology courses at TCC’s Southeast campus. For the
past 12 years, she has spent a significant portion of
her career utilizing emerging technologies and innovative learning activities to increase student retention and success.
Alicia was raised in
Rose Hill, Kansas. She
received her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Master’s in
Cognitive Psychology, and her Doctorate
in Cognitive Psychology from the University of Kansas. She
began working at TCC in 2008 and teaches a range
of psychology courses – from Introduction to Psychology to Behavioral Statistics. Alicia is a strong
advocate for more research opportunities for TCC
students, while serving as the Co-chair of the Research and Scholarly Activities Committee. Her current research focuses on investigating the effects of
teaching metacognition to improve student learning.
Joe Schicke

Joe was born in
St. Louis and raised in
Memphis. He earned
his bachelor’s degree in
English – Creative
Writing from University of Memphis, and his
Master’s degree in
English – Rhetoric in
Composition from Colorado State University. Prior to 2014 when he began working at TCC, he was a part-time faculty
member at Fort Range Community College in Ft.
Collins, Colorado. There he served on a Learning
Outcomes Team for reading comprehension and cochaired the Campus Instructor Coalition. At TCC,
he serves as the West campus liaison for the Accelerated Learning Program for developmental writing.
Logan was
raised in the small
community of Berryhill, Oklahoma. He
joined the U.S. Army
at the age of 17, where
he served for 8 years
as a signal support
system specialist and
combat engineer. He
has his associate’s degree in Business Management
from TCC, bachelor’s degree in Business and Information Technology from OSU, and a Master’s degree in Teaching, Learning, and Leadership from
OSU Tulsa. He has taught 7th-12th grade mathematics in a multilingual classroom in Taiwan. He holds
teacher certifications in Oklahoma in numerous
fields, with a focus on vocational education. He
began working for TCC in 2014.
