wanted to explore what’s beyond the coast of
Lebanon. Every human being wants to know what’s
beyond that horizon, so you can expand your
knowledge, and understanding of our role in the
universe around us.
About 13 billion years ago we believe it
started with a Big Bang... Isn’t that amazing? How
did we start from the Big Bang, and all those
particles... and here we are having life and talking
together...
How did that happen? How did that evolve?
How did the stars form? How did the planets form?
How did life occur? How common is life? Is it
common in the universe, or is it only unique to this
planet? Whichever is the answer, it would be
something completely amazing, and would change
our thinking of the world around us. So that’s what
we are doing in our exploration: we are trying to
write the book of how we came about – how did we
start from the Big Bang and how did we end here
today... and then looking forward, what’s going to
happen to our solar system, to our universe...
"Do not go where the path may lead," wrote
Ralph Waldo Emerson. "Go instead where there is
no path, and leave a trail."
