AFRICA Nyalouk Pal I have not been to Africa since I have left, but from what I can remember about the place that I left, it was indeed beautiful. My family and I lived a simple life, almost like a farmers. My father grew all of our crops and fed the animals that we had. For many years that was all I did. I would wake up go to school and right after ride my bike back home and start to work on the farm. When I came to the farm the first thing I had to do was to feed the horses that I loved to do. I always loved to see their reaction when they got their seeds. My favorite thing to do was to just relax and ride them around the farm. After that, I had to carry these very large AND HEAVY jugs of water to make sure they are able to stay hydrated. One of the funniest things that happened was when they pranked me. It was so scary that I almost peed my pants. So I was in school one day and they brought a gun. They then pointed it at me and threatened to shoot. I was so scared that I started to run. They then shot a firecracker, which I thought was the sound of the gun firing. I started to pee myself because of the extreme fright that I experienced. They then all started to laugh and said that it was just a prank. That day I was so mad at them, but karma got them back because all of them got suspended for a week. Years later I went to Canada for school. I was now 15 knowing very little about the city life. The craziest part was that I came to Canada in the wintertime. I never had seen snow in my life before. In Africa there are only two main seasons: the rainy season (which I hate) and the dry season. In Canada I had to adjust to four different ͕
