OPENS IN MAY
New process offers
convenience.
T
o improve returning student registration, the district will begin the online process
earlier. Tuesday, May 1, is the first day families may fill out the online forms. In 2017 the
process began in July. Opening returning student registration before the last day of
school allows families to receive assistance from campus staff before schools close
for the summer.
Everything can be completed online, but a benefit has been added for those who cannot
upload proof of residency, a utility bill or a lease agreement. Documents may be sent to a
student’s current campus instead of future school. For example, parents of a fifth-grader at
Bray Elementary may drop off a water bill there instead of at Permenter Middle School, the
student’s upcoming sixth-grade campus.
Names of those who complete the process before the last day of school will be included in
prize drawings for backpacks, T-shirts and other items.
More information will be emailed to families before online registration opens.
