Two holes are drilled in a wall at the height of
an electric socket, roughly thirty centimetres
above the floor. The size of the holes and the
distance between them correspond to the
contact pins of an electric plug. The plug of the
drill is inserted directly into these holes; the drill
lies on the floor. The work is presented only in
countries that have plugs with round holes.

Das englische Wort »drill« kann sowohl Verb als
auch Substantiv sein. Auf der üblichen Steckdosenhöhe von ungefähr 30 Zentimetern über
dem Boden sind zwei Löcher in die Wand
gebohrt. Die Größe der Bohrlöcher und ihre Anordnung entspricht den Kontaktstäben eines
Elektrosteckers. Der Stecker der Bohrmaschine
steckt in den Bohrlöchern, die Bohrmaschine
liegt auf dem Boden. Präsentiert wird diese
Arbeit nur in Ländern, die runde Steckerkontakte haben.
