Half Empty depicts a close-up of a simple
glass of water in front of a neutral background.
The photograph is a discrete part of the
two-part work Half Empty / Half Full. The two
photographs—always exhibited together in
the context of an exhibition—are never seen
together. Both photographs are shots of the
same glass, one taken shortly after the other.

Half Empty zeigt ein schlichtes Glas mit Wasser
in starker Vergrößerung vor hellem Hintergrund.
Das Foto ist ein separater Teil der zweiteiligen
Arbeit Half Empty / Half Full. Die beiden Fotos
werden im Rahmen einer Ausstellung immer
zusammen gezeigt, sind jedoch nie auf einen
Blick zu sehen. Die beiden Bilder sind Abzüge
von zwei verschiedenen Negativen, die in
kurzem zeitlichen Abstand von demselben
Glas gemacht wurden.
