COVID Testing Staff Farewell

Charles R . Drew University of Medicine and Science announced the discontinuation of mandatory COVID-19 testing for campus access effective April 6 , 2023 , in response to the end of the official public health emergency declaration .
A farewell luncheon was organized to honor and express gratitude to the dedicated testing staff who diligently provided daily COVID-19 testing . The luncheon served as a well-deserved recognition of the tireless efforts and commitment demonstrated by the testing staff in safeguarding the health and wellbeing of the CDU community throughout the challenging period of the COVID-19 pandemic .
While COVID-19 testing will no longer be required for campus access , CDU continues to encourage individuals to stay vigilant and practice recommended health and safety measures .
