CDU Holds Innovative Resource Fair with Scavenger Hunt

CDU hosted the Spring 2024 Resource Fair Scavenger Hunt , engaging students in an interactive exploration of valuable campus resources .
The event kicked off in the Student Center Lounge , where students eagerly received their scavenger hunt cards .
“ This is an opportunity for students to really see what CDU offers ,” said Destiny Walker , Student Affairs Coordinator . “ We know that the Student Center is hidden on campus , so having this resource fair / scavenger hunt gives students a fun opportunity to learn where things are located and that these resources are here for them .”
Inside the Student Center
Lounge , information tables were set up by key university departments and programs , including the Office of International Affairs , Student Academic Success , Office of Registration and Records , Office of Student Life , Pre-Health Program , and Community College Partnerships .
“ We at Student Academic Success are more than happy to present an open resource fair so students can explore the campus and get to know their staff and faculty ,” shared Darryl White , Academic Success Manager . “ It ’ s also a good opportunity to pick up treats , goodies , and just learn about the campus in a fun and exciting way .”
Each station in the Student Center provided information and resources for students to enhance their academic journey and campus experience .
The adventure continued as students journeyed around the campus , visiting representatives at the College of Science and Health , Student Health and Wellness ( SHAW ), the CDU Health Sciences University Library , and the College of Nursing .
