Decker Truck Line Names March Drivers of the Month
Decker Truck Line, Inc. is pleased to announce that David Ryland and Donn Wasko have been chosen as the company’ s April 2013 Drivers of the Month.
David Ryland was selected as Driver of the Month in the Reefer-Van Division. Ryland was nominated by his fleet manager, Marcia Goodale who said,“ David is really good to work with and has a very good idle time. He finished the 4th quarter with an idle percentage of 0 %.” Ryland has driven for Decker for 5 years.
Donn Wasko was chosen as the Flatbed Division’ s Driver of the Month. His fleet manager, Sue Anderson says,“ Donn is a good driver, very helpful. I don’ t have any issues with him; he’ s easy to get a long with. A customer called in to say what a great job he did and how well he

In addition to winning a Decker gift certificate, both of these drivers will now be eligible to compete for Driver / Owner-Operator of the Year. This year-end recognition of one driver from each division brings a 1-cent-per-mile pay increase for twelve months.
Decker’ s Drivers of the Month are selected by their fleet managers based on overall performance within all areas of the company, including operational productivity, safety record, maintenance / care of equipment, payroll, billing and customer service.
