how hard you get it; its about how hard you can get hit, and keep moving forward. That’s how winning is done. Now, if you know what you are worth, then go out and get what you’re worth. But you gotta be willing to take the hit…” – Rocky Balboa This quote has a lot to it. I personally see it has a tool to drive people to keep going and to do better. You may get hit once, twice or even a third but what matters is how many times you get back up ready to fight again. This relates to the fashion industry as well as another other career field by getting rejected or denied does not mean that you are not cut out for this profession, it just means that there is something better for you and you have to keep fighting in order to see it. “If people knew how hard I worked to get my mastery, it would not seem so wonderful at all” Michelangelo The first time I read this quote I was unsure of the exact meaning but once I reread it I greatly enjoyed it. I feel that this quote couldn’t be any truer. People expect people who have talent to just have it naturally they don’t stop to think that they had to work toward their high skill sets they just think that they were born with it and no practice was needed. The timeless expressing “practice makes perfect” relates to this quote. It shows that even Michelangelo was never the master of the arts that he is now, he needed practice and work, and with all of that he became the noteworthy artist he is today.   8
