started out as any normal college student does, lost and
confused. Ben had been raised in a traditional Jewish family
where jobs such as the movie industry are frowned upon
because they aren’t a steady job. Ben had started out
thinking that he wanted to become a lawyer but he soon
found out that that wasn’t for him. Ben had then had his first
experience being a grip to a movie set; he began to learn
the ins and outs to the industry. From there he became a
freelancer, making little to no money, went into debt but in
the end he was happy. Today he has become a movie
director for the film The Boiler Room and he has directed
many high-end commercials as well.
Flying High
David Neeleman should be a beam of hope with anyone
who has a disability. Taking his disability of ADD and turns it
into a billion dollar company he has certainly risen to the
top. He goes to college, and doesn’t do as well as he always
never did “great” in school. After colleges he starts his own
business, which fails, but continues to strive for better, as he
still has to support for his family. He starts Morris Air where
they offered first electronic ticketing. From there he sells his
company to southwest airlines and technically doesn’t have
to work another day in his life. In 2000, he launched JetBlue,
where he created TV’s for every seat, which he thought of
through his ADD.
