started out as any normal college student does, lost and confused. Ben had been raised in a traditional Jewish family where jobs such as the movie industry are frowned upon because they aren’t a steady job. Ben had started out thinking that he wanted to become a lawyer but he soon found out that that wasn’t for him. Ben had then had his first experience being a grip to a movie set; he began to learn the ins and outs to the industry. From there he became a freelancer, making little to no money, went into debt but in the end he was happy. Today he has become a movie director for the film The Boiler Room and he has directed many high-end commercials as well. Flying High David Neeleman should be a beam of hope with anyone who has a disability. Taking his disability of ADD and turns it into a billion dollar company he has certainly risen to the top. He goes to college, and doesn’t do as well as he always never did “great” in school. After colleges he starts his own business, which fails, but continues to strive for better, as he still has to support for his family. He starts Morris Air where they offered first electronic ticketing. From there he sells his company to southwest airlines and technically doesn’t have to work another day in his life. In 2000, he launched JetBlue, where he created TV’s for every seat, which he thought of through his ADD. 10/10/13 Your First Road Is Not Your Last   15
