serious car accident, which left her bed ridden for over a year. During that time she began to listen to music to help her recuperate. Her friend then recommends her to become a stylist, and for Arianne that was a leap of faith thinking that she had no solid fashion background other than a few sketches she did as a child. Thinking that she had nothing to loose, Arianne, decides to move to Manhattan and talk her way through interviews to land her the dream job. From her she goes through her ups and downs and figures out what she really wants. As she lands her dream job styling Lenny Kravitz, she begins to design costumes for movies with major headlining clients. 9/17/13 Mickey Drexler Mickey Drexler, CEO of one of my favorite companies, has turned J.Crew around and created it into what it is today. Drexler’s has been influenced by the fashion industry ever since he was a child. His father worked in the garment industry as a “junior coat manufacturer buying buttons and piece goods.” Drexler said that he never knew exactly what he wanted to do in life but he couldn’t have been happier that he didn’t know. He started off at Abraham and Straus department store. He then traveled to a few other places such as Gilchrist, JC Penny, Macys and Anne Taylor. it wasn’t until he found his way to the Gap that he started to grow to become someone of importance. J.Crew took him on as their CEO to revamp the stores image as well as merchandise. Mickey Drexler turned the store around and made it into what it is today.   13
