Ahhh, summer!
Summer on the Cape is quintessential New England. And CCLA members play a huge role in making it so. The plants and properties our members maintain, the supply chains our members support, and the huge number of customers served – each are a reminder of the essential role our industry plays in keeping the Cape thriving through the busy summer season.
Fittingly, CCLA’ s membership year begins on July 1. To conserve resources, we always start the membership renewal season with a series of reminder emails. Your company’ s renewal invoice is in the member holder’ s account at CapeCodLandscapes. org and can be paid right online. After July 1, paper invoices will be mailed to outstanding members.
In the coming weeks, you will see plenty of publicity about the 2026 Golf Tournament happening in Bourne on September 29. This event is the cornerstone of CCLA’ s scholarship fundraising and one of our most anticipated get togethers! Last year a team from Site One took top prize in the tournament – i. e., bragging rights – so we are all eager to see who will go home with the next trophy.
Before we know it, LandsCape Cod 2027 will be on the horizon. With the closure of the Emerald Resort, this year’ s event will be held at the beautifully refurbished Margaritaville Conference Center on January 19-20, 2027. We can’ t wait to unveil our plans for this new venue. More information will be coming soon for exhibitors. The educational program is already looking fantastic!
