Performances and Presentations Regularly throughout the year, students of the 3-year, full-time professional training program present to the general public the outcome of their work. Public presentation of the outcome of the 2-week workshop that Vincent Manstsoe (South Africa) lead with CCDC full- time students at CCDC in September 2017. The 7th edition of the Nassim El-Raqs festival took place in Alexandria from May 4th to 7th. The opening piece, entitled 'Wild Descent', was an adaptation of 'The Afternoon of a Faun' by French choreographer Olivier Dubois, in which 20 dancers, mostly CCDC current students or graduates, participated. The two-week intensive workshop about Composition and Critical Response Process by Libertad Pozo with CCDC current generation of students ended with this collaboration with the Leftover Luncheon Project, hosted by Markaz (Zamalek ,Cairo) in April 2017. This live structured improvisation took place during the opening night of the '5 ra2s' festival in February 2017, organized to celebrate the graduation of the first generation of the 3-year full- time professional training program and CCDC's 5th anniversary. Presentation of the outcome of the workshop with Maher Shawamreh and CCDC's students on November 10th 2016 at the French Institute in Egypt, in cooperation with Zawya cinema. 15
