Against the backdrop of tall trees, these tea gardens form a vast landscape that joins at its end the great wall, as it were, of sal, teak and shirish of the green jungle. Located in the Himalayan floodplains of Dooars, Gorumara also has a river that winds its way through and exits the forest at its farthest point in the east.
