for feeding lovers and not children , I will ask the gods for their mercy . They will give it ; the gods care little for children .

In return , I will gorge myself on what should be yours , and you will , maybe , become things who don ’ t hunger . You will have no bodies , no desires , and finally you will be free from the clawing , moaning want of this world .
