Luciano Nakata Albuquerque is a singer
/ songwriter / multi-instrumentalist who
adopted the personality of Curumin as a
way to explore the possibilities of many
sonic heirlooms in Brazil. The artist has
borrowed much of his Brazilian culture,
but expanded upon it by creating an at-
tractive and sensual tone through an
amalgam of MPB, samba, reggae, dub,
rap, funk, rock, and pop with touches of
Brazilian jazz and samba-rock, sound of
the 70s.
