El amortiguador del lado del pasajero ayuda a bajar lentamente el portón que , una vez abierto , se puede soltar y continuar bajando sin ayuda de una manera controlada . En el lado del conductor el amortiguador ayuda a cerrar el portón trasero ; facilitando y logrando el levantamiento con un simple movimiento con y una sola mano .
