Drone Technology
Curriculum Description
This course provides students knowledge in the field of aviation related to drone technology. Students will learn the skills needed to fly basic drones for commercial and recreational purposes.
Students must turn 16 by the end of the Drone Technology I course to sit for the FAA pilot exam.
Course Requirements
General Education Required Courses
• English- 4 credits
• Math- 4 credits
• Science- 3 credits
• Social Studies- 4 credits
• Health & Physical Education- 1 credit
• World Languages- 2 credits( required if NC college bound)
• Electives- 4 credits in any other subject area( programming would pair well)
