Electronics

Curriculum Description
This course introduces the student to electronic practices and fundamentals , roles of electronics in communications and industry , and career development .
Topics include safety , tools , basic direct current ( DC ), alternating current ( AC ), schematics , soldering , measuring electricity , Ohm ’ s / Watt ’ s / Kirchhoff ’ s Laws , semiconductors , electronic circuits , and digital theory . The appropriate use of technology and industry-standard equipment is an integral part of this course .
