Drone Technology
Curriculum Description
This course provides students knowledge in the field of aviation related to drone technology . Students will learn the skills needed to fly basic drones for commercial and recreational purposes .
Students must turn 16 by the end of the Drone Technology I course to sit for the FAA pilot exam .
Course Requirements
General Education Required Courses
• English - 4 credits
• Math - 4 credits
• Science - 3 credits
• Social Studies - 4 credits
• Health & Physical Education - 1 credit
• World Languages - 2 credits ( required if NC college bound )
• Electives - 4 credits in any other subject area ( programming would pair well )
