Bingham Canyon Mine
This mine is in operation since
1906 in USA and has a pit of more
than 0.6 miles depth and about 2.5
miles width. It is absolutely hard
to believe that this mine covers an
area of about 1,900 acres. This is
such a significant development of
USA that it has been designated
as a National Historic Landmark in
the year 1966.
