Sunday, September 22 was Member Appreciation Day at Cateechee Golf Club. It was a fun, familyoriented day that included live music, a barbeque style cook out, games to play, a putting contest and some crazy golf on the course. It was a day designed for you to let your hair down and just have a good time. It was a more serious occasion for us because our goal was to express how much we value your membership. We are in a tough business environment and always needing to increase revenue, control expenses and improve the bottom line. It’s a big challenge that would be impossible without the support our members. I hope you were able to attend Member Appreciation Day but if you missed it, I want to take this opportunity to personally say THANK YOU for supporting Cateechee Golf Club. See you at the Club! - Buck 2013 BIRDIE TREE For the past ten years, the CLGA has had a seasonal Birdie Tree. This tree represents all the birdies and eagles that have been scored by CLGA members during our play days and prizes are awarded to all during our Holiday Luncheon each year. Through the end of August, 20 of our members have scored a total of more than 100 birdies. The members with five or more birdies are Jeanine Douglas (18), Kaye Lewis (14), Kathy Heriford (10), Jean Kidd (9), Annette Holland (9), Gena Cauthen (8), Candy Taylor (8) and Audrey Burke (6). With two more months of play days remaining, we will definitely see more birdies and eagles added to our tree! C l u b Connection | Octobe r 2 0 1 3
