Letters and E-mails The e-mail itself shouldn’t be too long, as they’d be put off if they opened it to find an essay. So, the first paragraph explaining who you are and what you’re enquiring about, the second paragraph about your skills and what you could bring to the table, so some skills, experience and qualifications, but just an insight, not too much detail or information, as that’s what your CV is for. The final paragraph or few lines to let them know you have attached your CV and that you look forward to hearing back from them.
