James Spicer is a Carpaholic (and admits he has a
problem). Carp have completely captured James’
attention and no other freshwater gamefish will
give him a “fix.” James now solely targets carp
and anything else is now just a “bycatch.” Living
minutes from the South Platte River in Denver,
James has honed his carp hunting skills on some
of the largest and pickiest carp. James has been
fly fishing and tying flies for more than 20 years,

fishing guide and fly fishing industry professional.
