Working safely at heights is largely dependent on the quality of the product . Altrex provides products which at least meet the standards and laws which often vary per country . These standards and laws feature detailed requirements on how the product has to look , how strong it needs to be , and how much load it has to be able to bear .

EN 12811 The current European standard for facade scaffolds is the EN 12811 . This standard applies to all non-rolling scaffolds .
EN 1004-2 It is recorded in European standard EN 1004-2 which requirements the manual for assembly and use of scaffolds have to meet . The extensive manuals assembly and use of Altrexscaffolds are drafted in conformity with EN 1004-2 .
TÜV Several products are certified by TÜV Nederland , TÜV Rheinland , TÜV Nord , TÜV Sud or TÜV Sud GS .

EN 131 The EN 131 is the European standard for ladders , folding ladders and steps .
The Commodities Act ( Warenwet ) In the Netherlands , all ladders , folding ladders and stepladders have to comply with The Portable Climbing Equipment Decree ( Besluit Draagbaar Klimmaterieel ) of the Commodities Act ( Warenwet ).
NEN 2484 The NEN 2484 includes ( among other things ) additional durability requirements in comparison to The Portable Climbing Equipment Decree of the Commodities Act . The Commodities Act , which applies to ladders and stepladders for professional and DIY use does not offer a sufficient level of safety for professional use .
EN 14122 The industrial step-overs , straight ladders and hoop / escape ladders comply with EN 14122 safety of machines , permanent means of access to machines .
EN 14183 The EN 14183 is the actual Standard for step stools , stairtype steps and dometype steps stools . The products are designed for a maximum total load of 150 kg .
EN 14975 The European standard for loft ladders . This standard specifies terms and definitions , product requirements and test methods for the construction and performance of loft ladders .
