Global industries are now faced with immense challenges from geopolitical , environmental , energy transition factors ( to name a few ). An opportunity like this , where the relevant professionals and practitioners gather , interact and collaborate could perhaps contribute to learnings and solutions that may help to address some of the challenges .
Welcome
The daily keynote speeches and technical presentations will cover wide ranging topics that are very relevant to many of our challenges . These include Market Perspectives ; Welding Challenges and Solutions ; Renewable Energies and Sustainability ; Robotics , AI and Digitalisation ; Additive Manufacturing and many others .
In addition , we have designated a session on the second day where participants will come forward to share lessons learned , successes or failures stories in relation to stainless steel , or broader materials application and challenges .
I have no doubt that what awaits us is an exciting , vibrant , open , engaging and interactive seminar .
I am truly honored to be your Chairman and would like to take this opportunity to thank my fellow Steering Committee members for their professionalism , diligence and enthusiasm , all of which are key factors in enabling the success of this event . I look forward to meeting you on this tidy but very beautiful sunny island .
