WOOD
We only buy from farms that engage in a process of forest valuation, sustainable management (PEFC). Farms that ensure the identification
of timber in successive stages (FCS), ensuring sustainable forest management.
The autoclave wood (meeting all European standards) is a wood that has undergone a deep treatment in order to be protected from
biological aggressions responsible for the deterioration of the material. Five classes of employment (NF EN 335) have been defined.
Our most used woods are:
Flanders pine autoclave - class 4, Larch, Tropical woods, Composite wood, Laminated wood (Pines, Acacia, Oak).
The glues used comply with all European standards of non-contamination.
Accoya® wood is produced from sustainably sourced and fast growing wood. It has zero toxicity and provides dimensional stability
and durability that exceeds even the best tropical hardwoods.
A wood that can replace increasingly scarce tropical hardwoods, treated woods and less sustainable materials in new and existing outdoor
applications. A wood that will act as a better carbon sink during its extended life span and can be safely recycled at the end.

It’s manufactured using Accsys’ proprietary patented modification process from surface to core. Acetylation does not add any new
molecule that does not already exist naturally in the wood.
Accoya® wood always meets the requirements of Class 1 natural durability and 1 to 4 job-class suitability in accordance with EN 350-1
and EN 335-1.
