The Specular City, signs, superpositions and interferences in
the urban landscapes created by Monsalvatje, who is appar-
ently captivated by a distinctive graphic language wrapped in
an artificial universe; nevertheless he narrates the contempo-
rary reality of cities whose democracy is immersed in a soci-
ety made up of groups of power that manipulate the general
awareness of its citizens. The urban centres are surrounded
by a claustrophobic horizon and make up a set of imaginary
cities, beyond space and time, where the signs describe the
imperfect and unfinished city.
A narrative that grows through a meticulous ceramic process,
where Monsalvatje´s craft combines once again a develop-
ment between art and industry, a relationship that is still ex-
ceptional.

La Ciudad Especular, signos, superposiciones e interferencias
en los paisajes urbanos de Monsalvatje, aparentemente se-
ducido por un característico lenguaje gráfico envuelto en un
universo artificial, que sin embargo narra la realidad contem-
poránea de las ciudades, cuya democracia está inmersa en una
sociedad constituida por grupos de poder que manipulan la
conciencia general de sus ciudadanos. Las urbes aparecen cer-
cadas por un horizonte claustrofóbico, que conforman un con-
junto de ciudades imaginarias, fuera del espacio y del tiempo
y que a través de los signos nos describe la ciudad imperfecta
e inacabada.
Una narración a través de un proceso cerámico meticuloso,
donde Monsalvatje aúna una vez más en su trabajo un desa-
rrollo entre arte e industria un binomio que todavía resulta
inusual.
