“SPLASH”. It is the thud of a ceramic sculpture in black and
white, a silent and blinded composition. “SPLASH”. Es el golpe de una escultura cerámica en blanco y
negro, una composición silenciosa y cegada.
It is the sketch of a fragile figure, a mere model canvas, an
anthropomorphic figure who does not take the time to think
nor turn around. Es el bosquejo de una figura frágil, un simple lienzo modelo,
una figura antropomórfica que no se toma el tiempo para pen-
sar ni para darse la vuelta.
Stubborn, it rushes at high speed, fixed to its prosthesis, kind
of an unstable hybrid between a skateboard and a tricycle with
no handlebar. Terca, corre a alta velocidad, fijado a su prótesis, una especie
de híbrido inestable entre un monopatín y un triciclo sin ma-
nillar.
“SPLASH”. It is a gag, a comedy drama, a satire of modern
times. It is an allegory of contemporary men in search of speed
and condemned to performance. “SPLASH”. Es una broma, un drama cómico, una sátira de los
tiempos modernos. Es una alegoría de hombres contemporá-
neos en busca de velocidad y condenados a rendir.
“SPLASH”. It is also a dynamic impact, a surprise that hits you,
a sudden frontal collision with the obstacle, the unlooked- for
or the unexpected. “SPLASH”. Es también un impacto dinámico, una sorpresa que
te golpea, una colisión frontal repentina con el obstáculo, es lo
imprevisto o lo inesperado.
“SPLASH”. It is the ambivalent interpretation of an accident in
the race of a lifetime. It is the synopsis of an existence which
has nevertheless the choice of its trajectory, of its epilogue. “SPLASH”. Es la interpretación ambivalente de un accidente en
la carrera de su vida. Es la sinopsis de una existencia que sin
embargo tiene en sus manos su trayectoria, su epílogo.
